“We started working with Anna because we needed a professional, delightful yet serious UI design for our software suite, which we initially built up garage-style and from scratch with little to no design expertise.
Hence the big challenge was, how do we transform our existing software solutions into a new design system without causing too much extra efforts. Additionally, the software was quite specific to a niche use case in the pharmaceutical industry, so rather challenging to empathise with for people outside of the industry.
That was what we confronted Anna with, and she just got going. We worked with her 2 days per week, and in less than a month we knew exactly how to redesign the first software product. She then spent longer time creating a sustainable design system using Figma in close alignment with me and all other stakeholders (which is not easy in a corporate organization), which is the system we are still using today and I can say it made our lives a lot easier.
Creating new product designs now takes a fraction of the time it did before, plus even our prototypes and MVP already look like polished end products thanks to Anna's design system. Two things that I really really enjoyed about working with Anna was 1.) her self sufficiency and autonomy. In hectic times I would sometimes only be able to speak to her for a few minutes in the entire week (if at all), and i often failed at giving clear guidance. However, she truly made the best possible use of her time and always came back with new components or color schemas which i wasnt even able to ask for. This gave me huge peace of mind at hectic times. 2.) Anna tried to understand, not just deliver. And that made work a lot easier downhill. She asks smart questions and its truly worth providing smart answers.
Over all i can recommend to anyone who is looking for a new design system or UI lift to work with Anna. Her style is bright and playful but doesnt lack professionalism or seriosity, which suited our use case in a big corporate perfectly. I am extremely grateful to have worked with Anna and am looking forward to future projects together!”
